You'll actually think living in Edinburgh, it wouldn't be that hard to get basic items like horseradish, or even wild mushrooms for that matter. The numerous shops we had to visit aside, its always worth a trip to Valvona & Crolla on Elm Row. This has to be the best sourdough loaf out of San Fransisco, and proved to be the perfect base for our sandwich.

Thoughts on The Fabulous Baker Brothers
I imagine Tom and Henry Herbert will get a bit of stick from the critics. They obviously come from good stock, own a bakery and butchery next door to one another, constantly remind you "we're brothers", and one of them even has a bit of a trans-atlantic accent. But you know what, all these things don't bother me, they make me want to watch more. What else have we got to compare it to at the moment? Lorraine Pascale? (I'm sorry that woman can not cook ). Creepy faced Nigel Slater throwing some apples in with the sausages, then eating on his own in the rain?

As a young man who was brought up on the first series of The Naked Chef its good to see two chefs cooking food you might actually want to try at home. Unpretentious food doesn't come more humble than a chip butty, that has to go down as a strange first for any programme. The staged sibling rivalry for TV aside, I'll be tuning in.
